Hamees Gabr graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Architecture in May of 2022 from the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture at CCNY. In her five years at Spitzer, she has been a teacher’s assistant for both visual studies and studio courses, as well as been published in the school’s publication city works. In 2019, Hamees became a founding board member of an undergraduate organization the "Future Architects of the Middle East.”

She has professional and intellectual goals as an emerging architect, researcher, author, and educator. For graduate school, she will be studying Urban Design at Harvard University.

Since Gabr was young, she has wanted to be an architect to promote social change, reshape boundaries, and quite literally build a better world for the future. Architecture is a boundless field with a unique anthropological beauty unmatched by any other career, where imagination and a sense of design are used to create an authentic, long-lasting impact on the world. Architecture became a place where Hamees could study and relate her passions to improve how she designs space.
