Earl’s Court’s redevelopment strategy has been hyper-vigilant in preserving the past while also stimulating the future. Similarly, this studio focuses on envisioning architectural strategies that prioritize the future of our profession and the planet, while utilizing the timeless material of stone. My project merges tradition with innovation, looking to the past to maintain our future.

Drawing inspiration from the rich architectural heritage of Earl’s Court and beyond, my design seamlessly integrates the structural and aesthetic motif of corbel arches. These arches not only lend strength and stability to the tower but also infuse it with a sense of timelessness and grandeur, echoing the spirit of the past while embracing the future.

Sustainability has shifted from being trendy to being essential. Architects now view it as a must-do, not just to mitigate environmental harm, but also to ensure the durability and relevance of our buildings in the face of climate change. It’s become a core principle guiding our profession, shaping how we design and construct for a better, greener future. By understanding your material and its innate qualities, the design opportunities become endless. My project capitalizes on stone’s strength, insulating properties, and finish to create a twenty-story tower that will transform Earl Court’s skyline.
