Village Intergénérationnel represents an innovative and holistic transformation of an existing office building into a vibrant, intergenerational living community. The driving force behind this endeavor is to address the growing challenges of housing affordability and the increasing elderly population in Pairs, fostering a sense of unity and mutual support.
The office building will be creatively repurposed into a series of intergenerational and multigenerational apartments, each designed to accommodate different generations of residents while emphasizing shared spaces and communal living.
Shared kitchens play areas, and workspaces encourage interactions between residents, fostering social bonds and nurturing a sense of belonging. Additionally, shared gardens where residents collectively grow food for communal meals promote sustainable living and create opportunities for residents to connect over shared experiences.
